Wade Ho, CFA FRM
Wade Ho is admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Finance from University of Bristol in England. He also earned a Graduate Diploma in English and Hong Kong Law and a Bachelor of Laws, as well as a Master's degree in Philosophy in Hong Kong. Wade is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
Wade is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Before his journey as an Australian lawyer, Wade spent over a decade in the financial sector across Hong Kong and mainland China. He began his career as a Teaching Assistant at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, followed by a role as a Direct Investment Analyst at a Shanghai-listed conglomerate. He later moved into investment banking, where he gained extensive experience in corporate finance, advising on IPOs, equity and debt financing, mergers and acquisitions, hostile and negotiated takeovers, shareholder disputes and boardroom conflicts.
Wade currently serves as an external adviser to a Hong Kong-based corporate finance firm. His background equips him to handle complex transactions and disputes with clarity and precision, especially in cross-border contexts.
