Giving Back Through Community: Trio Lawyers at the Charity Luncheon

At Trio Lawyers, we believe that being part of a community means giving back whenever we can. Last week, we had the pleasure of joining the Charity and Multi Art Association’s annual luncheon — a gathering that blended kindness, art, and a shared sense of purpose.

This year, the focus was on raising funds for the Eastern Health Foundation – Box Hill, with every dollar going directly to support the vital services of Box Hill Hospital. The afternoon was filled with warmth: conversations at each table, the buzz of the auction, and the simple joy of being surrounded by people who all cared deeply about the same cause.

Our firm was grateful to contribute both through a donation and by joining the charity auction. It was not about the size of the contribution but the spirit behind it — being part of a collective effort to ensure that the hospital has the resources it needs to care for the community.

What touched us most was the atmosphere. It wasn’t a formal event where everyone was distant; it was genuine, lively, and filled with the kind of energy that reminds us why community matters. We met people from different walks of life, and yet there was a strong sense of connection and shared hope.

For us, participating in this luncheon wasn’t just about showing up as a law firm. It was about showing up as neighbours, friends, and fellow community members. Supporting local health services is not only a responsibility but also a privilege — a way to stand together and make sure no one is left behind.

We left the event feeling thankful: thankful for the Charity and Multi Art Association for bringing people together, thankful for the Eastern Health Foundation for their tireless work, and thankful for the chance to do our small part.
